How Can We Help?
42
See my article on the initials DB.
42 letters form the name of God in the Jewish Kabbalah, although there are other names of God, e.g. 72 letters. The 42 letters birthed all the forms of the world.
42 pops up in the “Monty Python” movie “And Now For Something Completely Different”. Number 42, Para 6 is the classification of the British government film “How Not To Be Seen”.
42 relates to 27 (see my articles on 27) as follows:
Given 27 same-size cubes whose nominal values progress from 1 to 27, a 3 × 3 × 3 ‘magic cube’ can be constructed such that every row, column, and corridor, and every diagonal passing through the center, is composed of 3 numbers whose sum of values is 42
42 = 7 * 6, which might equate with seven 6-pointed stars (The Star of David is 6-pointed). 7 stars are held in the right hand of Jesus in the Bible (“Revelations”). Those 7 stars are the 7 angels of the 7 churches.
In the TV comedy “The IT Crowd” (episode “Aunt Irma Visits”), ROY wears a T-shirt with the number 42 on the front. One of the employees has one eye covered up with a bandage.
