Simpsons gag

FAKE NEWS in reverse is NEWS FAKE, which is the name (albeit one word – NEWSFAKE) of a magazine in an episode of “The Simpsons” that is a play on the name of the real magazine NEWSWEEK. The episode, “Homer Simpson, This is Your Wife”, aired in 2006 well before the term FAKE NEWS rose to prominence in 2016. “Newsfake” is a spoof magazine cover that Lenny gets as a souvenir from a theme park.
