Trans-Humanism

The opposition to trans-humanism usually involves an opposition to man-made technology, whereas ‘natural’ technology (such as the human body) is usually not considered as bad. But if you believe that our universe is itself a giant artificial machine-like construct, designed for some malevolent purpose, then the New Age desire to hook us all up to ‘Universal Intelligence’ could be considered a sinister type of trans-humanism.
